How To Check Disney Dining Plan Credits.on App

There are four dining plans offered to guests of Disney resorts. You pay for your dining plan ahead of time and then you have a certain amount of meal credits for your trip. There are four different plans to choose from: quick-service dining plan, Disney dining plan, Disney Dining Plan Plus and the Deluxe dining plan. We've purchased the dining plan for our vacations since 2012 and plan to continue to do so. We save money by purchasing the dining plan but we do so by using certain tricks. One of these tricks is to keep track of our credits.

The way the dining plan is described is you are given a certain amount of credits for each night of your stay. But these credits are compiled into one big number for the length of your stay. If you are staying for 5 nights on the quick-service dining plan, then you'll have 10 quick-service meal credits and 10 snacks to use for your whole vacation. These can be used on any given day. If you don't use them by the end of the day they won't be lost. But if you don't use them by the time you check out then they're gone. If you use them all up before you check out then you'll have to pay for meals and snacks. So to make sure you don't end up with either happening, make sure to track your credits during your vacation. There are a few ways of doing this.

Receipts

Each time you make a purchase with the dining plan you will have a total amount of credits remaining on the bottom of your receipt. It will say how many are remaining of what you've just redeemed. If you've just redeemed a snack, then it will say how many snacks are left, if you've just had a quick-service meal, it will say how many quick-service credits you have left. If you've redeemed a table service meal credit then it will say how many table service meals you have left. If you're on the deluxe dining plan the quick-service and table service meals are interchangeable. This will allow you to insure your server has redeemed the proper amount of credits.

App

On the My Disney Experience App, you can keep track of your dining plan credits. Under My Resort Stay there is check dining plan icon. By choosing this icon, you'll be brought to a list of your credits. You'll see how many you have left, how many you were issued and how many remain.

Front Desk

At any time you can get a print out from the desk of how many credits you've used and how many are left. You can also get a detail print out to see when and where everything was redeemed. I would strongly recommend doing this nightly if you're staying with a large group, or have kids that are going to be around the parks on their own. That way you know when, where and who has redeemed their credits. To make sure everyone still has their fair share.

Be aware that everyone under your reservation fall into this number. If you're a family of 4 on the Disney Dining Plan for a 5 night stay, you'll have a total of 20 Table Service Credits, 20 quick-service credits and 40 snack credits. As everyone uses their credits, it will take away from the total number.
